We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The food was top-notch, delicious and fresh, can't stop thinking about it. I had the carbonara dish which was an absolute standout - the sauce was rich and paired perfectly with the salty pork. The local wine selection was excellent and complemented the meal wonderfully. Service was exceptional, and the cozy and romantic ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. I just wish I had space for a dessert!

Found this place near our hotel, got a seat right as it opened. The artichokes and beef cheeks were fantastic and my favorite pasta cacio e pepe was spot on. Glad to have found this and will return to on future visits to Rome

Food is very good and the only waitress that we encountered is very sweet and capable but she was a bit busy the day we were there because she was working by herself. I think the restaurant needs to hire at least one more person to work the lunch shift. Oh and she speaks multiple languages!! Recommend this restaurant for the food.

Finding the place was almost accidental, the restaurant was just a few steps ouside of the touristic perimeter. And oh boy what an experience. We really appreciate the value of quality local cuisine, and this place caters to offices and neighbours - but were definitely friendly and patient to us, clearly tourists. The food is excelent, any random dish of the 5 we shared were brilliant. They seem to have a studied standard of everything they serve; with different nuances of flavour, aesthetics and size. The waitress was polite, extremely nice and patient when discussing the dishes. Recommendations were on point in food and wine. Thanks a lot! Finally, the ambience was an oasis after a day flooded of tourists all around. Chill, greatly decorated and with a smooth jazz background that accompanied the food and the vibe. Highly recommended. Save a spot on your journey to make a reservation and venture just a bit outside of the edge of tourism. Hoping to visit again.

Fine meal, with options you won't find at other restaurants. My roast beef was very nicely done with fresh, local mushrooms and melted cheese.

Pasta Perfetta We had dinner at this place over a holiday Dec 26th. We were looking for a place to have dinner and despite being close to the touristic areas in Rome, we wanted something with a local vibe and we found this spot. Both the outside and inside of the restaurant have a cozy atmosphere. We were welcome by Georgia who was very nice during all te time we were there. There are just a few tables inside. The people that we found there having dinner were Italians so it reinforced a little bit our theory that the place was not so touristy. Of course, when in Rome, we wanted to try the pasta, so we ordered 2 pasta dishes, an appetizer and 2 glasses of wine. The pasta was perfect! “Al dente” with the perfect amount of sauce and you can tell the ingredients are high quality with every bite. For the appetizer we had the Bruschetta with pear and honey. As I mentioned, our waiter Georgia was amazing with suggestions and very welcoming. We wanted to tip but we didn’t have cash available. She explained that is not necessary to tip in Italy, and when you do, there is not a standard amount and anything you leave is welcome. Our bill, including all the dishes I mentioned was $60 EUR. Not bad at all. We might come back during our stay in Rome!

The carbonara here is a revelation—its rich, silky sauce perfectly melds with the salty, tender pork, creating a harmony that is hard to surpass. Other standouts like the cacio e pepe pasta and tender beef cheeks evoke genuine comfort, elevated by precise seasoning and technique. The tempura sage leaves and fried zucchini flowers add a playful, delicate crunch that contrasts beautifully with the richness of the mains.

The wine list, carefully curated with local selections, complements the meal effortlessly, enhancing the dining experience without overpowering it. Service shines through despite a compact team, with multilingual staff displaying warmth, knowledge, and genuine care, adding an intimate, welcoming layer to each visit.
